Combos Make the Score — A Combo-Keeping Guide
Combos are the fastest way to inflate your score in this game.
The principle is simple: eat a carrot, then eat the next one within 2 seconds, and the combo keeps going.
As long as it stays unbroken, the multiplier stacks up bit by bit.
The threshold is how many you grab in a row.
Chain 5 and your score goes ×2, 10 gets you ×3, and 20 gets you ×5.
Since a single carrot is worth 10 points by default, in the ×5 zone that same carrot is suddenly worth 50.
How long you can drag a combo out single-handedly decides your whole run's score.

The most common reason a combo breaks is blowing past that "2 seconds." In stretches where carrots are spread far apart, instead of getting greedy for a distant one, it's safer to flow smoothly along the line right in front of you.
There are two helpers for stretching a combo long.
One is the golden carrot — eat it and a magnet switches on for 8 seconds, pulling in any carrots within 3.5m all on their own.
While the magnet is active, the combo practically keeps itself going.
The other is the line of mid-air carrots above a trampoline.
They're great for sweeping up several at once along your jump arc, letting you crank the multiplier up in a single go.
