The Deeper You Go, the Faster It Gets — Survival Strategy by Section

Mocha speeds up the deeper she goes.
You start at 12 meters per second, and as the depth grows she keeps accelerating, all the way up to 30 meters per second.
Even in the same burrow, the 100m mark and the 1,000m mark are essentially different games.

A sprint deep in the burrow

The early stretch (0–300m) is relaxed.
The pace is slow, so you have plenty of time to react — this is when you want to stack up a long combo and lay the foundation for your score.
Rather than forcing risky dodges, calmly follow the carrot lines.

From the mid stretch (300–800m) the speed starts picking up.
From around here, the key is keeping your eyes on the far inner part of the screen rather than right at your feet.
The sooner you spot an obstacle, the sooner you can react.
Jump over roots, and weave left or right around rocks.

The late stretch (800m onward) is nearly at peak speed.
You only have three hearts, and a hit gives you 1.5 seconds of invincibility — but take a few in a row and it's over in a flash.
If you see a pocket watch, don't hoard it; using it in this stretch is where it pays off most.
Instead of getting greedy for every carrot, put your weight on staying alive.
